How to Find Us

 The Problem:

Hard for us to believe, but only toward the end of 2010 did we discover that some, if not all, GPS systems as well as the Internet mapping services are not accurately locating the Coyne Park Range.

The cause of this problem is multi-faceted. The range is located within Coyne Park and the building housing the range does not border on the street. Moreover, the range was here long before many of the surrounding properties were erected and no one knows for sure how it acquired the address of 771 McLean Avenue (versus some other number). In fact, some say the 771 number does not "officially" exist.

The result is that if you enter the range address into any of the major map sites (i.e., Yahoo Maps, MapQuest, Google Maps), none of these will show the correct location of the range. Yahoo is the least off, MapQuest is further off, and Google doesn't even place us on the correct street. This is quite unfortunate because the range is very conveniently located and really easy to get to once you know where you are going.

 The Solution:

Specifically, we are located on McLean Avenue in Yonkers, New York, just three blocks east of the NYS Thruway (Rte. 87), and the entrance to our parking lot is essentially opposite a street called Cumberland Drive.

If you click on the Yahoo Map link below, Yahoo will return a result showing a location for 735 McLean Avenue which, although not our "official" address, will take you to the entrance of our parking lot. You will not get this result if you try it in either MapQuest or Google Maps.

Or you can go to either Yahoo Maps or MapQuest and enter "40.90781, -73.87386" (without the quotes), which are the latitude and longitude coordinates, respectively, of our range, and both Yahoo and MapQuest will return an exact location of our site. You also can enter these coordinates into your GPS system to get our exact location.
