Pistol/Rifle Skills Improvement Sessions

image Have you been target shooting with your handgun or .22 calibre rifle for a while but still don't feel quite comfortable with it?

image Have you achieved a reasonable comfort level but can't figure out why you are not shooting better by now?

image Are you an experienced target shooter but still have not achieved the level of proficiency you are aiming for?

image Your comfort level and shooting skills will likely improve by arranging for one-on-one, hourly Skills Improvement Sessions with one of our experienced instructors.

image All of our Skills Improvement instructors are certified by the National Rifle Association.

Please note:

(1) These sessions are available during normal range hours at any time that is mutually agreeable to the participant and the instructor. The instruction fee for these sessions is $30/hour. Normal range usage fees apply. Please call the Range Director, Christopher (Chris) Rotolo, for further information. Chris normally can be reached at the range Mondays (5:45 - 9:45 p.m.), Fridays (10:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.), and Saturdays and Sundays (12:15 - 5:45 p.m.) – or leave a message with your name and phone number and Chris will call you back. You also can e-mail Chris .

(2) In the case of handgun participants, these sessions should not be considered, nor are they, a substitute for the basic Pistol Safety Course.

(3) In the case of handgun or .22 calibre rifle participants, these sessions should not be considered, nor are they, a substitute for the FIRST STEPS Pistol/Rifle Orientation Programs. Rather, they can be an effective augmentation to these programs.

(4) Handgun participants must present a valid NY City or NY State Pistol License.
