Public Transit from NYC

We receive numerous calls asking how to get to our range from NYC using public transportation. The Coyne Park Range in Yonkers is just a ‘stone’s throw’ from the northernmost border with the Bronx. Directions are provided below. If you find any errors please e-mail the Webmaster with appropriate rectifying information.

Using the Lexington Avenue Subway Line take the No. 4 train north (Bronx-bound) to the end of the line, which is the Woodlawn/Jerome Ave Station.
Using the 6th Avenue Subway Line take the ‘B’ or ‘D’ train north (Bronx-bound) to the Bedford Park Boulevard/Grand Concourse Station.
The days and hours of operation for these trains can be found here.
The NYC Subway map can be found here.
The telephone numbers to the NYC Transit System can be found here.

At either of the above locations take the #4, #20, or #21 Bee-Line Bus northbound to McLean Avenue in Yonkers. (The bus stop at Bedford Park Boulevard is at the intersection with Jerome Avenue.) Please note that it is a short ride to McLean Avenue so be sure not to miss your stop. When you exit the bus you will be at McLean Avenue and Central Park Avenue. Walk eastbound a very short distance on McLean Avenue and you will reach the range, which is directly across the street from Cumberland Drive. (When you exit the bus do not cross over Central Park Avenue or you will be heading westbound.)
The days and hours of operation for the #4 bus can be found here.
The days and hours of operation for the #20/21 buses can be found here.
Fare information for these buses can be found here.
The Bee-Line Bus system telephone number is 914.813.7777.

The range also can be reached taking the Bronx-Manhattan Express Bus BxM4C, exiting at McLean Avenue, and following the directions above.
The schedule for this bus can be found here.

Be aware that it is your responsibility to fully comply with the laws, rules, and regulations governing the transporting of a firearm or firearms on public transit systems.
